Scholastic's Bloggers Book Feast

I was so looking forward to Scholastic's Bloggers Book Feast, it was the highlight of my January and I could not wait to hear about their upcoming 2017 reads.

Scholastic have got a lot of books I am now desperate to read and they gave us a quick summary of their key titles. I have listed the ones I am most excited for below. (I apologise in advance for my poor quality photos).

AH just so many amazing sounding books! Can I say that these books sound even better than last year....  Also despite there being no cover for Noah Can't Even, very shortly we were going to be some of the first to see the final cover....

Next we had one of my favourite parts which was the book cover designers talk. I never tire of hearing how they decide on what cover to use for each book. And now for the big reveal for Noah Can't Even....

I love it! And it got a lot a laughs let me tell you! I really think this one is going to grab a lot of attention on the bookshelves. This has been described as part coming of age, part coming out story and it sounds awkward and hilarious- just like my teenage years and it's going on the TBR pile for sure!

We were also treated to a videocam from Maggie Stiefvater and she was hinting about a new book she has coming out. All we really know is that it is set in Colorado and she can't tell us much us. I am hugely intrigued and can't wait.

Next we had our two author panels and it was great to hear about their publishing journeys, advice to other writers and of course more about their books. I am particularly excited for all the YA Fantasy book Scholastic have coming out. Ink by Alice Broadway doesn't sound like anything I have ever read before, where every significant event is tattooed on your skin. Show Stopper by Hayley Barker also sounds really intriguing where the poorest people in the land are forced to sell their children to a travelling circus to perform at the mercy of hungry lions, sabotaged high wires and a demonic ringmaster. And we got a proof in our goody bags, I was so excited. Next up was Lisa's Shiver of Snow and Sky which Lisa's Editor Lauren said she read in one sitting she loved it so much. I cannot wait.

To end a brilliant day we were each given a fab goody bag and these were the amazing things inside, including a proof of Show Stopper! Thanks so much Scholastic and Olivia and team, I had a brilliant day.
