Today brings a slightly different kind of blog tour. This time I am taking part in the #AvonCraftOff for the Mistletoe and Mayhem blog tour. Read on to see what crafty thing I challenged myself to do. Also don't forget to check out the other stops and see what they did to get their craft on.

My Craft Off challenge!

For my Craft Off Challenge I was to make a Christmas Tree out of Cupcakes Cases and I could not wait to get started. The instructions I had were below.

The instructions seemed pretty straight forward, so I gathered my crafting materials and set to work. I had decided to make my tree red, gold and green and was very happy with the foiled cupcakes choice I had chosen and set about folding and glueing them.



Slowly but surely, my Christmas tree was coming together- although probably won't be using foiled cupcakes again as they don't like to stick together very well.

About half an hour later, I had completed my craft off challenge and added some silver ribbon. Although it looks nothing like the picture in the instructions, I don't think it's too bad for a first go and I definitely will be trying it again with my niece. I know that she will have so much fun doing it. It also required a lot of improvisation on my part as was limited to what I had on me.
