It was thanks to the lovely Elizabeth at Headline books that I got invited to this fantastic book launch. I have been a fan of Harriet Evans since I read my favourite book of hers Happily Ever After back in 2012, so I was so excited to actually get to meet Harriet in person.
I arrive a little early so I wondered around the magnificent Foyles bookstore and bought a book whilst there :)
Soon it was time to head up to the 6th Floor and that's where I met Elizabeth. She was incredibly lovely and made me feel so welcome. Don't what I would have done without her as hadn't met anyone else there before. Harriet's book was beautifully laid out on the below table and I was also really excited as a quote from my review along with others was on the first page :)
I have been a fan of Harriet for a few years, so I was actually really excited to meet her. She gave a lovely thank you speech and I asked Elizabeth if she would introduce me, as was a bit shy.
Harriet was so so nice! She must have thought I was a bit mad as kept going on about how much I loved her book Happily Ever After. But anyway you can see from the below photo how happy I was to meet her (big cheesy grin). Harriet also kindly signed my book :)
I had an absoutely fantastic evening that also came with some very nice canapes and prosecco! A big thank you once again to Elizabeth for inviting me.
