Today I am delighted to be part of the tour for Everything Changes But You by the lovely Jennifer Joyce with a guest post.
Guestpost, If I Had Three Wishes by Jennifer Joyce
Everything Changes
But You:
Wishes
In Everything Changes But You, Ally’s birthday wish comes
true, which has got me thinking about what I would wish for. Ally has just one
wish, but I’m going to be greedy and have three (hey, it’s my guest post so I
make the rules).
Wish 1
Weight-loss chocolate
Come on, we’ve all wished for this at some point, right?
Chocolate that not only tastes good but helps you shed the pounds? Heavenly!
Obviously it would have to have a cut-off point with the weight-loss, otherwise
I’d be walking around like Skeletor (but without the cool purple hooded cape,
unfortunately) within a week.
Wish 2
More night-time hours
This one is because I’m really, really lazy and hate getting
up in the mornings. I don’t want to go to bed earlier so if we could have some
extra hours during the night, that would be great. Why have eight hours sleep
when you can twelve? It would prevent an awful lot of grumpiness.
Wish 3
An undo button for life
If you make a mistake on the computer, there’s the handy
undo option. What if we had these in real life too?
You trip and graze your knee on the pavement. Ouch! Plus,
the mortification if there are witnesses (especially if they come to help you
up. Please just pretend you didn’t see. It’ll be better that way, honestly).
Undo! You avoid whatever tripped you and save yourself the pain and
embarrassment.
What if you drunk-text your ex? Or said something you really
shouldn’t to your boss in the heat of the moment? Undo! You knock over your
nan’s favourite vase (that belonged to her
nan and is therefore irreplaceable) – undo.
So those are my wishes (that I REALLY wish I had now). What
would you wish for?
