This was a sad, but beautifully written story about young Poppy Day battling against cancer that will definitely set your emotions off on a rollercoaster ride.

Poppy Day is 32 and married to the wonderful Mart and has two lovely children called Peg and Maxy. Expecting that this year will be her best year yet; her world instead starts to crumble when she discovers a lump in her breast. Poppy isn't one to back down and she is determined to fight this battle, but can life really work like that?

This made for some difficult reading especially as this storyline was quite close to home. That said I thought Amanda dealt with the subject really well. She didn't hide anything that cancer can do to you and I admired this as it can sometimes be a taboo subject. Even though thousands of people are diagnosed with cancer everyday it still seems to be a subject that people avoid. I think this story will make people realise just how affecting cancer is and hopefully people will be begin to understand it more.

I really loved what Poppy and her husband Mart had. They really were so in love with each other and so supportive. It made me really want to have a relationship like that. Their two gorgeous children as well were so loved by them and they really were a wonderful family, so to read Poppy going through what she was was so tough and I really really felt for them.

Poppy is definitely an admirable character. She held it together as much as she could and I found myself in tears at the end that seemed to come on quite unexpectedly. Will You Remember Me? really draws you in and you get to know the characters as if they are friends of yours.

An emotional heartfelt read that won't let you forget Poppy Day.
