Showcase Sunday is hosted by Vickie at Books Biscuits and Tea. The aim of this event is to highlight our newest books or book related swag and to see what everyone else received for review, borrowed from libraries, bought in bookshops and downloaded onto eReaders each week. Happy Sunday lovelies, hope you have all been enjoying this gorgeous weather! Here is my book post for this week.
Lola and the Boy Next Door by Stephanie Perkins (Bought)
Shadow and Bone: The Grisha Book 1 by Leigh Bardugo (Bought)
The Undesirables by Dave Boling (To be reviewed)
One Step Closer to You by Alice Peterson (To be reviewed)
See You Tomorrow by Tore Renberg (To be reviewed)
What Milo Saw by Virginia Macgregor (Twitter Win)
The Story of Us by Dani Atkins (To be reviewed)
I was absoultey over the moon to receive Dani Atkins second novel The Story of Us this week. I read her debut Fractured last year and it was amazing so I cannot wait for this one and at the back of the book it has my quote about Fractured :). I was also really thrilled that I won What Milo Saw on twitter. It sounds really interesting and quite a unique novel. I was also pleasantly surprised to receive Alice Peterson's next novel, One Step Closer To You. It has a really gorgeous cover and I really enjoyed her last book By My Side.
So those are my books this week. Do let me know if you have read or received any of above. Happy Sunday :)
The Story of Us and Closer to You both look really good.

ReplyDeleteYou've picked up some great looking books :) must admit I'm not much of a typical 'romance' reader. My first ever Showcase Sunday is up on my blog now, would love it if you popped by :) http://www.ablondelibrarian.blogspot.co.uk/2014/07/sunday-showcase-1.html x
ReplyDeleteSo much awesome! What's the 'bonus material' in the purple edition of Shadow and Bone if you don't mind me asking? :)
ReplyDeleteNot at all :) It's a letter that was found at the back of the book
DeleteThanks, Laura! Is it from Mal?
