Showcase Sunday #23

Showcase Sunday is hosted by Vickie at Books Biscuits and Tea. The aim of this event is to highlight our newest books or book related swag and to see what everyone else received for review, borrowed from libraries, bought in bookshops and downloaded onto eReaders each week. For more information about how this feature works and how to join in, click here.

Hello everyone! Hope you're enjoying your Sunday. Looking forward to seeing all your books! Here's mine:

Don't Even Think About It by Sarah Mlynowski (To be Reviewed)
The Hive by Gill Horby (Bought)
Secret Revealed by L. Marie Adeline (To be Reviewed)
The Broken by Tamar Cohen (To be Reviewed)
The Bone Season (Bought)
The Headmaster's Wife (To be Reviewed)

Very happy with my books this week. Don't Even Think About It sounds so good. I'm really into YA novels at the moment and literally just finished reading one called Tease yesterday which I highly recommend. The Bone Season and The Hive are two books I have had my eye on since they came out in hardback, so have been waiting for ages for the paperback versions and finally have them to read. Secret Revealed was a surprise book post and is the third in the trilogy. I still have one and two to read, so must catch up. I adore the cover though! The Broken sounds really intriguing and I am part of the blog tour for it in May, so look out for a giveaway then.

So that's my books this week. What have you all bought/received/borrowed this week? Do let me know.

  2. Oooh, you've got The Bone Season in that batch. That's on my TBR list too but it's soooo long. Do you find that you enjoy shorter or longer books? If I like the plot, then I love a longer book because it draws it out more, but sometimes, longer is just longer and it doesn't add anything to the story. What do you think?

    1. Yeh I think I feel the same as you. If the book is good, it does't matter how long it is cos you read it faster as you keep wanting to immerse yourself in it. But if it's not really grabbing me, I prefer it to be shorter :)

  9. I have The Bone Season on the TBR and I am looking forward to it.The only thing I am worried about is that it has been dubbed the next Harry Potter which I get really pissed at when publishers do that! :')
