Showcase Sunday #21

Showcase Sunday is hosted by Vickie at Books Biscuits and Tea. The aim of this event is to highlight our newest books or book related swag and to see what everyone else received for review, borrowed from libraries, bought in bookshops and downloaded onto eReaders each week. Hello everyone, hope you have all had a good week. I am so relieved to have had the weekend, it's been a bit of an exhausting week, but it ended off nicely last night when I went to the Choc lit event and met the lovely people of choc lit, authors and bloggers :). Now onto books!

The Memory of Midnight by Pamela Hartshorne (From Zarina)
Trespass by Rose Tremain (From Zarina)
Ash by Malinda Lo (From Zarina)
Seating Arrangements by Maggie Shipstead (From Zarina)

A Hundred Pieces of Me by Lucy Dillon (Birthday Present)
A Single Breath by Lucy Clarke (Birthday Present)
Surrounded by Water by Stephanie Butland (To be reviewed)
Sugar and Spice by Angela Britnell (From Choc Lit Event)
Campari for Breakfast by Sara Crowe (To be reviewed)
Dance Until Dawn (To be reviewed)
Perfect Wives by Emma Hannigan (To be reviewed)

Thanks to the lovely Zarina, I have five wonderful sounding books to read and I have particularly had my eye of The Memory of Midnight for a while! It was my birthday last week and I LOVE the two books I got. Both of them have had amazing reviews so far, so I cannot wait to get stuck in. I love the cover of Sugar and Spice from Choc lit, it's just so pretty and PINK! I will be doing a blog post for next week on the event. I had such a good time. Emma Hannigan's book Perfect Wives is another one I'm looking forward to as I have read one other of Emma's books and loved the way she writes, so have high hopes for this one. So another great week for books!

What have you all received/bought/borrowed? Do let me know! Have a great Sunday everyone!

  2. Oh, I got Ash too this week! Here's to hoping it's good, it's my next read.
Great haul you have, and I'm totally jealous of you going to the Choc Lit event. Every Choc Lit book I've read has been great.

  4. Wow. You've received a lot of books this week. I really like the cover for The Yonahlossee Riding Camp for Girls. There's something very art deco and great Gatsby about it :)
