Showcase Sunday is hosted by Vickie at Books Biscuits and Tea. The aim of this event is to highlight our newest books or book related swag and to see what everyone else received for review, borrowed from libraries, bought in bookshops and downloaded onto eReaders each week. I had a day off this week and went to Covent Garden with my sister for a bit of early Christmas shopping. We got a little bit done, but was just nice being in London for pleasure and not work. We also went to Harrods and saw their amazing Christmas window, which was a train with the inside of different carriages in each window. If you haven't seen it, I recommend you go or google it really is something to see.
Only two books this week, but one very exciting one for me.
Physical Books:
Make My Wish Come True by Fiona Harper (Goodreads Win)
Ebooks
A Cinderella Christmas by Holly Kingston (Review Copy)
Make My Wish Come True was my second Goodreads win within two weeks! I have been on Goodreads for over a year and never won anything and then two wins come along at once! I was so so so excited when I got asked if I would like to review A Cinderella Christmas. I saw the cover reveal a little while ago and just fell in love with it. I am now part of the blog tour and my stop will be on 12th December so look out for that as there will also be some prizes to be won.
So a small book post this week but an exciting one. What have you all received this week? Hope you have a great Sunday.

DeleteI really must go and see the Harrods display, it sounds great! I went to the Southbank Christmas market and Oxford Street for a bit of Christmas shopping yesterday, it was lovely too :) I love London around Christmas time!
ReplyDeleteIt is so good and looks so pretty! I need to make a trip to Oxford Street. I haven't been to the Southbank one but must try and do it soon. It definitely makes London so much more prettier :)
DeleteOhh congrats on your Goodreads wins, you're on a roll! I'm on the blog tour for A Cinderella Christmas too, so will "see" you then :)
ReplyDeleteI haven't been to Harrods yet this year (I usually go for the Christmas parade and then go see the Christmas windows too but couldn't make this year) but I love the displays in the Disney store in Covent Garden this year, did you see them?

It certainly feels like I am lol. Ooh that is good news, I am so excited! That's a shame you missed it, I was lucky to go see it this year as it's rare that I have time to go up to London apart from for work.
DeleteYes I did!! Looked so good! And there was also a giant reindeer there as well, took a picture like a proper tourist :)
