Showcase Sunday is hosted by Vickie at Books Biscuits and Tea. The aim of this event is to highlight our newest books or book related swag and to see what everyone else received for review, borrowed from libraries, bought in bookshops and downloaded onto eReaders each week. So this week I went to Brussels for a Digital Workshop. I actually quite enjoyed myself as I met some really nice people from the other branches and it was also good to put a face to a name, as some of them I have only ever emailed and not seen. Only two books this week, but this gives me more of a chance to catch up.
Christmas at the Cupcake Café by Jenny Colgan (Purchased)
Pivot Point by Kasie West (Review Copy)
I just could not resist Christmas at the Cupcake Café. It has such a beautiful cover! I still need to read the first one though which is currently sitting in my TBR pile! I was also really pleased to receive Pivot Point. The story sounds really interesting: two fates, one choice and it also has an awesome cover!
Right back to reading and I am also continuing to do my xmas shopping as I left it incredibly late last year and I want to be super organised this time!
What books have you all received this week? Have you read either of the above? And if so what did you think?
